MRLS 2026 SPRING SEMINAR

When: Saturday, April 11, 2026  Time: 9:00 A.M. to 4 P.M.

Where: Bourkevale Community Centre,  100 Ferry Road, Winnipeg, MB

KEYNOTE SPEAKER  Rose Martinson

Our  seminar is a time to reconnect with  friends you haven’t seen all winter, make some new friends and generally have a good time after a long hard Manitoba winter.  

Rose is the owner of Hartle-Gilman Gardens, a NALS lily judge and a member of various national and international lily groups. She will be speaking to us on the gardens in the morning and her latest endeavor,   the “michiganense Lily Species Project”, in the afternoon. This includes an educational component on delayed hypogeal germination, seed dispersal and a photo presentation.  

There will be a bulb sale after lunch that is open to registered guests which will have a limited amount of the newly introduced unique interdivisional hybrid, Copper Canyon, a cross between Easter Morn and a tetra trumpet selected from the work of  Dr. Griesbach.

Following the sale will be the Annual General Meeting.  

There will be presentations throughout the day from Leanne Dowd (Wonderland - A Retrospective)  and Nigel Strohman (30 Years in the Business).  

The registration fee for the seminar is $35.00 and includes refreshments in the morning and afternoon, as well as a locally catered lunch.

The preregistration date deadline is April 2, 2026
